US East Coast dockworkers strike could lead to delayed orders

Beginning today, 10.1.24, U.S. East Coast and Gulf Coast dockworkers began a strike that will halt the flow of about half the nation's ocean shipping activities. Read more about it from Reuters here.

Unfortunately, that kind of shipping interruption could lead to delays for our manufacturers when they’re fulfilling the orders you place on alpscontrols.com.

It’s certainly possible that the strike will get resolved quickly and you won’t see any lag in your orders — but it’s also a good idea to plan ahead.

If you’ve got products to order for deadline-based projects or you need to manage your inventory, plan ahead now for your orders so that you don’t get stuck waiting later.
